Bioque Pronto Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. <a href=”http://www.tomoson.com/?code=TOPa1ff667b3e44a9906abe61bb405aa909&#8243; rel=”nofollow”><img style=”display: none” src=”http://www.tomoson.com/images/front/pixel.png&#8221; /></a>

So this product was something I was sent to try out and review. It came in a little box with a sample cleanser. I read through the directions and to me it seemed like a moisturizer. It said to apply to any problem areas after cleansing face. So I applied to the areas that got dry the most. After a few seconds I noticed a tingling. Not to uncomfortable but not what I was expecting from the product. So i went to look up what this thing actually was!

So I looked up the product online.

The website says

” instant wrinkle visibility zapper. Incredible botanicals zing lines out, zoom plumper skin in- enjoy life visibility wrinkle free (and injection free) for up to 12 hours at a time.”

This product retails for $50.00 for a 1 oz jar.

Now I am only 23 years old so i do not have a ton of wrinkles. But I do have some lines by my eyes and on my forehead. So I applied the product to those areas. I definitely did feel the tightening going on and it did last quite a long time. I think the areas I applied it to were not ones that could be zoomed away. I think I will have my mom try this out and provide you all with her thoughts on this product. I just do not feel at this time that I could give the best review of this product for my skin type.

I will keep you all updated with the information my mom gives me.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using <a href=”http://www.tomoson.com/?code=BOTTOMa1ff667b3e44a9906abe61bb405aa909&#8243; rel=”nofollow”>Tomoson.com</a>. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Weigh In Monday / Update

Well Monday is back and for me that means another Weight Watchers weigh in. I experienced the same nerves that I always do followed by a rush of disappointment. I gained .4 pounds. I know its not even a whole pound but still I am angry with myself. These past few days I have been so busy helping with the big tree in the back yard that i have not paid as much attention to what I am eating. I know weight gain at times is normal but for me it is not acceptable! I need to get back on track!

So this morning for breakfast I had cream of wheat that i flavored with a hot cocoa packet which was delicious. So that was five points. Then I had a banana with it and a bottle of water! I am really hoping to get back on track and have a big loss next Monday.

On the bright side the tree is completely down and now we are beginning to get quotes for our roof. Our first quote was saying it would be $10,000. I am not willing to pay that much for my roof to be replaced so hopefully the other people I have come out will be more reasonable then that!!

Weigh In Monday

Yet another day to step on that dreaded scale! I am nervous every single time even though I have never had a week where I gained. I guess I am just afraid of that week being the one. There was one day where I went over my daily points so of course that is the first thing to come to mind! So I step on the scale to see that I am down another 1.6 pounds. I think that is pretty good for one weeks time! So that is a total for me of 13.2 pounds after 42 days!! This is getting so exciting! I can not wait for everyone to start noticing the difference! They say it takes at least eight weeks for other people to notice. Next Monday would be the eight week mark. I have started to notice a change and I am loving it. I have a friend who joined Weight Watchers four days after I started and she just keeps gaining weight but she is not tracking her food. I do not understand why some one would pay for the program if they are not going to utilize it. But whatever its not coming out of my pocket!!!
I am loving my Weight Watchers experience and highly recommend it to anyone looking to lose weight!!

February Ipsy Bag!

Another month is passing and that wonderful day has arrived! The day that little pink envelop shows up in my mailbox! I love those days! I tried so hard every month to not look at any sneak peeks or check my glam room but I just can not help it! Sneak peeks flood my news feed and that email haunts me until I finally cave and see what I am getting. Even though I already know what I am getting my excitement levels are still through the roof as I open the envelop!!

This months them was The Look of Love and the bag was a bright pink bag with cheetah print on the inside! Absolutely adorable!

In my bag I received:

Zoya Nail polish in the shade Dot.

It is a nice soft baby pink color. I loved the other Zoya polish I got a few months ago so I am sure this one will not disappoint.

I also got:

J. Cat false lashes with glue.

Since I wear glasses all the time false lashes are not very practical for me. I do wish I could wear them but I think I am going to save them for a future giveaway!

Next was:

Eyetini Shadow Tint in the shade Violette.

It is a gorgeous purple shade that feels wonderful when I swatched it. I think it will work well as a base or an all over color.

Then we have a POP beauty lip gloss in the shade Fuchsia. The packaging on this is adorable and the shade is gorgeous!!

It is a very wearable gloss that I did not find overly sticky. The color can be sheer or built up to be more opaque.

Last we have Skyn Fresh Start Mud Mask.

This was just a sample foil pack that I am guessing is a one time use but I am excited to try it out.

Another month that did not disappoint!!

Philly and Cheese Stromboli

Well I tried something new tonight so I wanted to share with you all. I left out the peppers and mushrooms so that may have been why it seemed like it was missing something. It can be tweeked in so many different ways but it was pretty good. I think it needed a different cheese instead of the Velveeta. But here it is:

serves 8 ( WW 7 points)

  • 2 bell peppers, julienned ( colors of your choice)
  • 1 onion, halved and sliced
  • 4 oz. fresh mushrooms
  • garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 loaf ( 1 lb) frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 12 oz. reduced-fat Velveeta cheese, sliced
  • ½ lb. deli roast beef, chopped ( I did buy a good quality Angus roast beef)
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp. water
  • 1//4 c. shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

In a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray, saute the peppers, onions and mushrooms until tender. Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Set aside.

Roll bread dough out to a 15 x 10 inch rectangle. Place half of the Velveeta down the center of the bread dough. Top with all of the beef, then all of the pepper mixture. Top with remaining Velveeta. Fold dough over filling, pinch seams to seal and tuck ends under. Place seam-side down.

Mix egg white with water and brush over loaf. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle with mozzarella and bake and additional 5 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Make sure you let stand or you will have cheese oozing out all over the place!

Weigh In!

So I have been missing in action for a few days but I am back now!
Once again it is Monday which means weigh in day!!!
Now let me tell you this Monday I was way more nervous then I usually am!
I was nervous because on Saturday we had a birthday dinner for my in laws and we went to Red Robin.
Now nothing at Red Robin is healthy. So I used Saturday as my splurge day. My burger alone was 26 points and I get 30 for a whole day!!
Anyways thats why I was nervous but I had to face the scale!
So I step on to see that I was down another 2.6 pounds!!!
So that is a total of 11.6 pounds!!!
I hit my first goal that i had set which would have been 10 pounds so I chose another goal to lose another 10.
Essentially I want to lose like 30 or 40 more pounds but I like making smaller goals so I stay motivated when I reach them!!!
Anyways I just wanted to update you all!!!
